MOMENT ONE: Letters From School
The artwork for Moment One is a rather simple picture of the Weasley’s kitchen with the six letters, place settings, and food.
Collectible Items:
Second-year shopping list: If you complete the game correctly then the bowl will move over, revealing a piece of parchment. This is your shopping list.
TIP: Once you get the hang of it, the game is quite simple. I included a cheat below:
1) Click the center letter. The center letter is the one directly next to the salt shaker.
2) Click on the letter to the left of the center letter.
3) Click on the letter to the right of the center letter.
4) Click on the letter below the center letter.
5) Click on the letter in the far left corner, above the second letter.
6) Click on the last letter.
Hopefully that made sense! If it didn’t, comment down below.
MOMENT TWO: Floo Powder
The artwork for Moment Two shows the Weasley’s fireplace and mantle, surrounded by books and blankets.
Collectible Items:
Ignatia Wildsmith Chocolate Frog Card: In the clothes basket to the left of the fire place
Scullery Key: Hanging on the right side of the fireplace, toward the top. (you must collect this to move on)
Fire Tongs: Leaning on the right side of the fireplace
Floo Powder: In the small bowl on the mante (left corner)
One Minute Feasts - It’s Magic: Stacked on the mantle
Enchantment in Baking: Stacked on the mantle
Charm Your Own Cheese: Stacked on the mantle
TIP: Instead of traveling on through the next moment through Floo Powder, you instead have to collect the Scullery Key. You can then move on after you the key. However, there is an interactive feature with the Floo Powder. If you take a piece from the bowl and throw it in the fireplace, the fire will turn green.
MOMENT THREE: Borgin and Burkes
The artwork for Moment Three is a depiction of the Borgin and Burkes store in Knockturn Alley. Harry accidentally arrives here during an unsuccessful attempt at Floo Powder.
New J.K. Rowling content: “Draco Malfoy” - newly added
Collectible Items:
5 Galleons: In the desk drawer (hover over it until it opens)
A mask: On the right wall near the fireplace
Dragon Liver: In the right window behind the glass case
MOMENT FOUR: Lucius Malfoy
The artwork for Moment Four is a depiction of the Borgin and Burkes store in Knockturn Alley. Harry accidentally arrives here during an unsuccessful attempt at Floo Powder.
Collectible Items:
New J.K. Rowling content: “The Malfoys” - Click on Lucius Malfoy (zoom in once)
Peppermint: In the woman’s basket in the front.
Magical Me: In the window display in the front of the store (zoom in once)
Miranda Goshawk Chocolate Frog Card: High up on the back bookcase
Encyclopedia of Toadstools: Levitating and flying in the air
Hairpin: In one of women’s hair in the front. She’s the one with the bun, and to the right of the witch guarding the door (dressed in black).
TIP: Once you’ve collected the hairpin, you can travel back to Chapter One, Moment One and unlock the cupboard under the stairs. Once you’re there, you can collect two more objects, a chocolate frog card and a every-flavored bean.
Thanks to Elm Goes to Hogwarts for all the help in the locations!
Continuing their user art showcase, the Pottermore Insider blog updated today featuring artwork from Chapter Three, The Letters from No One.
The pictures chosen depicted Harry’s fight for his Hogwarts letter and the hut on the rock. Next week the Insider will highlight illustrations from chapter four.
Have you submitted yet? You can do so anywhere on Pottermore.
Hypable.com’s Andrew Sims has posted an open letter to the new CEO of Pottermore, Charlie Redmayne. In the letter, Sims expresses concerns and suggestions for the site. These suggestions include the showing of real names, the announcement of a better timeline for the Chamber of Secrets release and the infamous sorting process.
Many people agree with him and even added their own suggestions in the comment section. Some things people are saying include adding a wizard’s chess game, adding sound (this has been a MAJOR complaint), trivia games (like Scholastic’s Wizard Challenge), and more backstory.
Read the full letter here at hypable.com! This is truly a MUST READ for all Pottermore users (and future ones too!). What are your suggestions for the site? Tell us in the comment section!
P.S. TELL THE CEO ABOUT THIS!!!!
